Look at that ponytail
We arrived at Town Creek Park. There were so many people and dogs out there on Sunday.
I guess everyone had the same idea that we had. While we were out there Duke and Ally went swimming. They love to swim and usually it consists of Kevin throwing a stick out in the water, Duke trying to retrieve the stick, and Ally trying to tackle/wrestle Duke the whole time in the water. Usually Duke can fight her off but I think he was tired and is getting older. Ally kept on dunking Duke and for a minute we thought she was going to drown him. She wouldn't let him come up for air. Kevin was taking his shoes off and about to go after him when she finally quit. It was pretty scary and Kevin said he was about 5 seconds away from getting in there. Luckily, Kevin use to be a lifeguard so he knows how to save people. I don't know if he has ever had to save a dog though. We will have to be careful from now on with swimming. Just one dog at a time.
Here is Duke resting with Kevin on the bench after his swim. He was worn out.
Here is Addison holding on to the attempted murderer. She had to have a chain around her neck :). We don't think Ally meant to hurt Duke. She just has a lot more energy than Duke. They love each other and will be very sad when one dies.
On our way home we passed Addison's future elementary school. Kevin thought it would be great to take a picture of her in front of the sign. Then we can get a picture of her on her first day of school.
We ended our Sunday afternoon of being outside by going to Brusters to enjoy some ice cream. Since it is girl scout cookie season they have Thin Mint ice cream. It was delicious. Addison loved the ice cream. We couldn't give her too much though because we didn't want her to have a belly ache.
Aunt Maleah came over in the evening. Addison loves hanging out with her. She watched the Auburn girl's basketball game with us and gave Addison a bath and put her to bed. It ended up being a fun Sunday afternoon.
